Summer Fun!
Did you know?
A daily reading time of 10-15 minutes a day is proven to help keep kids reading on their level during summer break?

Barnes & Nobles offers “children’s hours”. Contact specific store for times/events.
Thank you to Mrs. Scott our PTO Teacher Liaison for all of this wonderful summer information!
Recycling in 2010
Please help us get an early start on our next recycling project. Save all your Frito-Lay snack bags; they are worth 2 ¢. This includes: Sun Chips, Cheetos, Lay's chips, Doritos, Fritos, and Rold Gold brands. You can put the small bags into the large 14 oz bag and save them
until the bag is full.
Bags must be empty, flattened and not torn;
we cannot use bags that are wet.
- Collection box is located in the cafeteria
- Our goal is 4,000 bags by next December
- All funds raised will go towards art supplies for all grades in Art Class!
SCHOOL SUPPLIES
If you ordered school supplies they will be available at Meet the Teacher
Thank you for parents of McClendon for all your time and help during the school year!
A VOLUNTEER is a person who remembers to do the thing to make other people happy, who takes the loneliness out of the alone by talking to them, who is concerned when others are unconcerned, who has the courage to be a prophet and to say the things that have to be said for the good of all.
